Domestos - #Toilets4all

0 commenti
Having to go to the toilet in the open is an issue that is faced by over a third of the world's population, mainly in developing countries.
To raise awareness of this issue we created a special toilet with one way glass.
You couldn't see in. But you could see out.
Then we put it in Piccadilly Circus for the public to use. It got some interesting reactions.

TAC - Ungiven Gifts #ungivengifts

0 commenti

The heartache of facing Christmas following the loss of a friend or family member on the roads is the focus of “Ungiven Gifts”, a touching installation of 209 Christmas gifts that will never given. Behind each of these gifts is a heartbreaking story of a life lost and of loved ones whose Christmas is ruined.

The Ungiven Gifts installation, launched by Victoria’s Transport Accident Commission (TAC) will be in the State Library forecourt until Wednesday. Visitors can leave either a commitment to safe driving or a tribute to a loved one on the Christmas tree, or on Facebook.

Wooden Shark Coffins by BY HANDSOME WONG

0 commenti
This social awareness campaign is meant to emphasize the mass killings of sharks: over 73 million of the species are killed every year just for bowls of soup. Their fins - which only make up 2% of their total weight - are brutally sliced off and the rest is tossed back into the ocean.
The campaign was done in collaboration with IFAW, one of china’s most prominent animal welfare organizations.

Fiat Grand Siena - "Change your perception of space."

The challenge
Promote the new Grand Siena, a compact sedan with a surprisingly spacious interior.

Solution

By using an optical illusion trick (Ames Room) we created an installation where the perception of the size of people was altered as they interacted with the space.

A 10-meter magnolia tree is planted in the center of Chile's National Stadium where dictator Pinochet in 1973 imprisoned thousands of political prisoners who were tortured and killed. After planting the tree, the stadium doors are open to the public as a park; offering a space to stop, look again, and remember. An impossible, cathartic soccer match played before 20.000 people, closes the project after a week of activity.

Biancoshock - "experiences"

0 commenti
"When I first read on the newspapers that drawing dumb robots on walls was the same as being a contemporary Giotto, I fully understood how far Biancoshock fell from being an artist.
And further still, from being a street artist.
My "experiences" are not showcases to promote my activities, they do not require any description and they are NOT artworks: they are simply opportunities to communicate and provoke reactions from common people. I'm talking about all those who, although with little or any artistic education, still want to be surprised and moved by something that was left on the street for all to see."
